Heartfelt Creations Alumni DT July Bloghop~

Good morning Heartfelt Creations fans and friends! Can it be July already? I am certain the Alumni DT has an amazing lineup of projects to share with you again. Be sure to leave a comment on each blog and remember to do so before it closes on Fri. August 1st at midnight. What is a bloghop without a prize?? The winner will receive $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations and will need to email Emma Lou with "Winner of July Alumni Hop" on subject line. And here we go!

My project uses the lovely blooms from the sun kissed fleurs, sun kissed fleur die  and combined with the leaves and swirls from the decorative flower pot die. First I covered the wooden frame with the lovely Floral key Collection. The edges of the frame are sponged using 3D paint. The flowers were stamped in black onto regular vanilla cardstock, die cut with the matching dies and coloured using Viva Decors' 3D stamp paints. After which I shaped each flower using the paper blossoms tool kit and molding mat. After selecting and layering the petals to my liking, I layered them onto crisp white Raindrops on Roses die and adhered to frame using my dries clear glue. To finish my frame, I added green prills to the centres of each fleur.
Materials used:
Stamps: Sun Kissed Fleur precut
Inks: Black archival ink, Viva Decor 3D paints - carmine red, walnut brown, QQ powder puff ink green tea
Paper: SU, Floral Key Collection(heartfelt)
Accessories: Sun Kissed Fleur die, Decorative Flower Pot die, Raindrops on Roses die, Prills, Dries Clear glue, Wooden Frame

Thank you for hopping along with us and we will see you again in August. Check back with us on Saturday to see if you won the gift certificate. Enjoy your week!

SNSS You are Special ~

Good Morning Sweet'nSassy Fans!  Recently I had tea with a friend and the amazing detail of decor, sweet little vases filled with flowers and leaves, home baked scones, lemon curd and devonshire cream....I could go on! The most touching was that she did all this for me. Just because.

My card uses Diane Z's illustration Special Blend. I coloured the image with copics and layered the handcut image (silly me, I forgot I had the die!) onto Cheery Lynn's french pastry doily. It is laughable what I can do or not do for that matter. You can use the matching special blend die if you remember. Next, I tied the silky ribbon directly through the doily. The sentiment is from Gloria Stengle's  Birthday Word Art set.

Materials used:
Stamps: Special Blend, Birthday Word Art
Inks: SU Calypso Coral, Memento black, copics
paper: SU
Accessories: Cheery Lynn Die, Ribbon, dimensionals

SNSS Peace and Joy ~

Happy Saturday morning! My card uses one of the new stamps from yesterday's Christmas in July release, the  Christmas Innies. These stamps are perfect as card fronts as well as messages for the inside of your cards...I love the versatility!

Materials Used:
Stamps: Christmas Innies
Paper: Kraft CS, MME
Ink: SU Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Rhinestones, ricrac trim, rosette

Now, on to the Release! First up...
You'll love playing with these fun images and combining the 14 different sentiments to make your card say just the right thing!  The best part is the die set includes a die for each of the arrow images making it a snap to add an arrow to any card creation!
And next...
These 13 large sentiments are perfect for making birthday cards for friends and family alike!
My first card uses a fun combination of What's Up? and Birthday Word Art. These two sets pair up so easily, you'd think they were created for each other. I love the ease in creating a masculine look with the numbers, arrows and fonts in each set.
My second card features the Birthday Word art in a simple card. Again, I chose colours that could easily be gender neutral, although I couldn't help adding some ribbon.
Materials used:
Stamps: Birthday Word Art, What's UP?
Paper: Authentique, SU
Inks: Versafine Black
