Yes - Jesus Loves Me

Aunt Nancy - mother of my heart. She never spoke a word of English as I grew up in her home yet in her final years, learned to sing Jesus Loves Me in word perfect English. This song would become her hope and joy as she released it to whomever would pause and listen. "Unless you become like little children" are the words of Jesus in Matthew 18 and in the isolation of memory loss and Alzheimer's, my beautiful aunt found solace in a simple song of declaration. Yes, Jesus Loves Me.

I miss you dear mother of my heart.

SNSS Tea for Two ~

Good morning Sweet'nSassy friends and fans! Cocoa has always been my favourite little mouse. I created this little tea bag holder using Tea Time Cocoa.  Isn't our little friend just sweet?

My image is coloured using copics and die cut using spellbinder dies. I layered the square onto the labels one decorative die. The papers are a discontinued favourite from SU. You can find directions to create one here.
Here is the inside view of the holder. The inside pages can be stamped with coordinating inspirational messages that you can find from SNSS. I opted to leave mine empty until I know exactly what I want in my holder.
Finally, a closeup version of cocoa. The sentiment is from the stamp set and embellished using rhinestones I coloured using copics.
Materials Used:
Stamps: Tea for Two
Papers: SU
Inks: Copics, Memento, SU
Accessories: rhinestones, ribbon, Spellbinder dies

Heartfelt Creations Alumni DT July Bloghop~

Good morning Heartfelt Creations fans and friends! Can it be July already? I am certain the Alumni DT has an amazing lineup of projects to share with you again. Be sure to leave a comment on each blog and remember to do so before it closes on Fri. August 1st at midnight. What is a bloghop without a prize?? The winner will receive $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations and will need to email Emma Lou with "Winner of July Alumni Hop" on subject line. And here we go!

My project uses the lovely blooms from the sun kissed fleurs, sun kissed fleur die  and combined with the leaves and swirls from the decorative flower pot die. First I covered the wooden frame with the lovely Floral key Collection. The edges of the frame are sponged using 3D paint. The flowers were stamped in black onto regular vanilla cardstock, die cut with the matching dies and coloured using Viva Decors' 3D stamp paints. After which I shaped each flower using the paper blossoms tool kit and molding mat. After selecting and layering the petals to my liking, I layered them onto crisp white Raindrops on Roses die and adhered to frame using my dries clear glue. To finish my frame, I added green prills to the centres of each fleur.
Materials used:
Stamps: Sun Kissed Fleur precut
Inks: Black archival ink, Viva Decor 3D paints - carmine red, walnut brown, QQ powder puff ink green tea
Paper: SU, Floral Key Collection(heartfelt)
Accessories: Sun Kissed Fleur die, Decorative Flower Pot die, Raindrops on Roses die, Prills, Dries Clear glue, Wooden Frame
